Thread Gauges

A thread gauge, also known as a screw gauge or pitch gauge, is used to measure the pitch or lead of a screw thread. Pitch is determined by measuring the distance between adjacent peaks or valleys of the thread in millimeters. Align the head of the fastener to the start of the ruler, and find a thread that is in alignment with a measurement mark. Next determine how far it is to the next peak or valley.

Tapper Gauge

A taper gauge is a measuring tool that measures sizes such as the width of gaps and grooves, hole diameter, and pipe inner diameter. In addition to models made of metals such as carbon tool steel and stainless steel, there are also models made of plastic that do not easily damage the object.

Pialn Plug Gauge

Plain plug gauges are used to check dimensional tolerances in bore holes drilled with smooth walls. There is also thread plug gauges which are used to check threaded holes, and verify the correct thread type, main diameter, minor diameter, pitch diameter, and thread pitch against a mating thread gauge.

Adjustable & Fixed Snap Gauge

Adjustable Snap gauge provides a quick and easy attribute method of checking outside diameters, groove diameters, or width dimensions by having to go and no-go elements set into the snap gauge. The body of the Snap Gauge is made from graded cast iron. The gauges have different shapes and sizes.

Fixed gauge standards are measurement devices used to gage a specific feature on a part, where the feature being measuring is a diameter, radius, angle, screw pitch, thickness, or other feature type. A single fixed gage can only accurately gage a specific dimension.
