76989-68689 Vernier calipers are used to measure the distance between objects. They are used to measure the dimensions of an object. They can measure both internal and external dimensions accurately. They are used to measure exact linear measurements in various fields. The vernier is a subsidiary scale replacing a single measured-value pointer, and has for instance ten divisions equal in distance to nine divisions on the main scale. The interpolated reading is obtained by observing which of the vernier scale graduations is coincident with a graduation on the main scale, which is easier to perceive than visual estimation between two points.
A micrometer is an instrument used for making precise linear measurements of dimensions such as diameter, thickness, and lengths of solid bodies. It is made of a C-shaped frame with a movable jaw operated by an integral screw. Micrometers are usually, but not always, in the form of calipers (opposing ends joined by a frame). The spindle is a very accurately machined screw and the object to be measured is placed between the spindle and the anvil. The spindle is moved by turning the ratchet knob or thimble until the object to be measured is lightly touched by both the spindle and the anvil.
Dial gauges are used for checking flatness of surfaces; parallelism of bar and rods; and detecting small differences if any in linear measurement of identical objects. A dial gauge is also used for measuring concentricity of round objects. These are available in inches as well as in millimetre.
Designed for quick GO/NOT-GO gauging of diameters of cylindrical parts either inprocess or post process.Measuring spindle and anvil spindle are manufactured out of graded steel.Spindles are hardened and ground including screw threads.Carbide ground and lapped tip of measuring faces ensures maximum wear resistance .For quick entry, chamfer provided on front edges .Constant measuring force, which is a result of an in-built spring, eliminates user error.Once the gauge is set to zero with a master, we can measure the size directly.
They are commonly used for mounting Dial Test Indicators and Digital Indicators, or supporting gauges. The magnetic bases and fitment arms kits are also used for mounting medical instruments, photographic equipment, temporary lighting ,sound equipment as well as jigs and general fixings.
The Groz Granite Comparator Stands are a highly accurate and reliable tool for dimensional inspection in industrial settings. The stands are manufactured from the highest quality black granite with a uniform texture and colour, providing the stability and accuracy required for precision measurements.
Slip gauges or gauge blocks are used as standards for precision length measurement. These gauges are made in sets and consist of a number of hardened blocks made of high-grade steel with low thermal expansion. Slip gauges are rectangular blocks of hardened and stabilized high-grade steel or zirconium oxide (ZrO2).
A digital height gauge consists of a linear scale mounted on a pole or beam that is held vertically and fixed rigidly to a heavy and stable base. The heavy base has a precision ground flat base for accuracy and stability. A height gauge is a measuring device used for determining the height of objects, and for marking of items to be worked on. The left height gauge has the vernier scale, while the right one is an electronic height gauge with a digital readout.
Bore Gauge is the comparative measuring instrument which measures internal diameter of a hole by comparing with master gauge (micrometer, ring gauge etc.). Bore gauges are essential tools used to measure the internal diameters of bores, which are simply holes. It is often used in the routine maintenance of equipment to check for the wear-out of parts for operators to know when they should change their equipment.
